The mission of the Physical and Mental Health Committee is to educate and facilitate lifestyle change for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of our sorority sisters and the Howard County community.
The Health Education & Alzheimer’s Disease (HEAD) Talks were hosted by Columbia Alumnae Chapter in partnership with Curing Alzheimer’s Now (CAN) Dream Foundation, Howard County Office on Aging and Independence (HCOAI), Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (JHADRC), and Live Now Fitness. Sponsored by Own Real Estate. Through this event we shared information about Alzheimer’s disease, overall health education and tips, and resources for caregivers. We hope you are inspired to take practical steps to reduce the risk of developing this disease by improving your diet, exercising, meditating, and getting quality sleep.
